Condition: The globe is in very good condition and is very clear and easy to read. Also the Dutch stool is in perfect condition.

Description:  This very rare antique, celestial miniature manuscript globe, is handmade and hand painted. The Dutch stool is made of three different kinds of wood.  Most of the 48 Ptolomaic constellations are present. Also eg Lacerta and Sextans which are named in Hevelius celestial atlas (1690). Constellations which are recorded later are not present. The constellations of the southern hemisphere are not present (see pictures).
