Philips' 3 inch terrestrial globe, 1915

Description: A miniature terrestrial globe made up of twelve chromolithographed paper gores and two polar calottes.The equatorial graduated into degrees and marked every ten degrees. The ecliptic unmarked. The continents are variously hand coloured and with major cities named, major rivers shown in black line and named. The lakes also shown and named.

The globe is held in a iron attractive stand, in which it smoothly rotates.
